This sound bank comes as 104 individual tones for the 8P. The JX-8P came in 1984 and had a quite rudimentary MIDI specification. It could not recieve full banks of sounds and it could certainly not transmit them. It can, however, recieve one sound at a time, but it doesn"t save this to memory. It ends up in the edit buffer, so as soon as you have transmitted the sound to the 8P, play it and see if you like it, then save it on any of the 32 internal or the 32 cartridge (if you have a M16C cartridge at hand) memory locations. The patches focus on bass and pad sounds, some with intricate modulation going on (oscillator sync and much more).
